Set up a Ledger Hardwallet

Set up a Trezor Hardwallet

To set up a Ledger hardware wallet, follow these steps:

  1. 1. Purchase a Ledger Hardware Wallet using this link. Click here!

    Unbox the Ledger hardware wallet and connect it to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.

  2. Press the left or right button on the device to start the setup process.

  3. Choose your preferred language and confirm by pressing both buttons.

  4. Set up a PIN code with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 digits using the buttons on the device. Confirm by pressing both buttons.

  5. Write down your recovery phrase (also known as seed phrase) on the provided Recovery sheet. This is the only way to restore your wallet if you lose access to it. Make sure to keep the sheet safe and secure.

  6. Confirm your recovery phrase by selecting the words in the correct order using the buttons on the device.

  7. Once confirmed, your Ledger hardware wallet is set up, and you can start transferring your cryptocurrency assets to it.

Note: Always make sure to purchase your Ledger hardware wallet from an official retailer to avoid scams or fraudulent activity. Also, always keep your recovery phrase safe and never share it with anyone.

To set up a Trezor hardware wallet:

  1. Unbox the Trezor hardware wallet and connect it to your computer using the USB cable that came with it.

  2. Go to the Trezor website at trezor.io/start.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Trezor Bridge software.

  4. Once installed, click on the “Create a new wallet” button.

  5. Set up a strong password and write down your recovery seed (also known as seed phrase) on the provided Recovery card. This is the only way to restore your wallet if you lose access to it. Make sure to keep the card safe and secure.

  6. Confirm your recovery seed by selecting the words in the correct order.

  7. Once confirmed, your Trezor hardware wallet is set up, and you can start transferring your cryptocurrency assets to it.
